We are very pleased to be able to offer advertsing banners on the the site.
My current policy is as follows:
The advertising banners work on a per section basis. So if you place a banner in the build section then it will appear on every page in the build section.
The banners will all be one fixed cost for simplicity.
Banners can be single width (236*60) or triple width (708*60), triple width is triple the cost of a single banner.
The entire site uses banner rotation software, so any banner placed will appear in any one of the banner slots on the individual site pages. Banners can be placed in multiple sections, there is no restriction on this just increased costs per extra section. The site homepage has the most banners and therefore the most restriction in terms of banner rotation in order to keep site load times to a minimum.
I have introduced a six banner discount whereby six banners are purchaseable for the price of five. ($100 / £50). This gives good site coverage for the popular sections of the site.
This also applies to triple banners, ie. two tripple banners cost $100.
I have introduced for 2006 the option to place a forum wide banner in the trextuning forums. This is for 708*60 banners only and costs $100. Forum banners can not include flash or animated gif.
Banners are 236*60 in size or 708*60, I can also support flash banners.
Payment is monthly by paypal.
The banner system tracks banner impressions and click throughs, a userid can be provided on request to allow access to an advertising campaigns statistics to monitor success rates and impressions per day/month.
